Care Plan FAQs

Why do I need a Care Plan?

A Website Care Plan saves you time administering one of your school’s most valuable marketing assets. These plans are specifically designed to keep your website protected and running smoothly.

What happens if my website goes down, gets hacked, breaks, etc.?

Website Care Plans include loads of preventative care. However, in the event that your website has a major issue, we will be there by its side, communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf. We do not guarantee that your website will not be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it. And, if a crisis ever occurs, we’ll be there to assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

*What is a Content Update?

Content updates include:

Adding new posts, events, team members, or testimonials.
Updating the lunch menu, handbook, or other links.
Swapping out photos or text.
Creating or making changes to a form.
Updating the site’s navigation.

Content updates do not include:

Creating new pages
Adding new functionality
Writing content
Search Engine Optimization

Do you also help with my email?

No, we don’t provide email support. The reason behind this is that we want to focus on one thing and do that one thing – your website – really well. We strongly recommend you use Google Apps for Work or Microsoft Office 365 to host your email.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, you can. But we cannot switch plans more than twice per year. If you’re not sure which to choose, or if you want to see for yourself what we can do for you, you can start with the Basic Plan and upgrade at a later date.

Can't I just do this myself?

You can! After we build the site, we’ll hand you the keys and are you’ll be in control. There are tens of thousands of great tutorials and online. So, if something goes wrong, you can learn how to fix it with a little time and patience.

It’s like car maintenance. Some folks enjoy learning and tinkering. Others prefer to trust the professionals and invest their time in other things.
